What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga therapy is not just a workout. It’s a healing modality rooted in ancient wisdom and backed by modern science. Using mindful movement, breathwork, guided relaxation, and somatic awareness, yoga therapy supports your nervous system, strengthens your body, and gently reconnects you with your own inner resources.

Unlike one-size-fits-all yoga classes, yoga therapy is customized to you. Every session is thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are—physically, emotionally, and energetically. We’ll co-create a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and begin to unwind long-held patterns—one breath at a time.

Ongoing stress can weaken your immune system, disrupt digestion, increase inflammation, and negatively affect your mood and sleep. 

Yoga Therapy works to activate your body's own "rest and digest" and "safe and social" nervous system states. This shift gently moves you out of survival mode into a

state of healing. 

Once in a healing state, your body takes the lead - it begins to repair tissues, balance hormones, strengthen your immune responses, align actions with core values and support mental and emotional alignment.
